Pay day

Pay day.

It's wonderful to have that feeling when you get your pay that it is already gone.  Between bill payments and that horrible season approaching, there is no money spare.  None.  In fact, I regularly run a deficit around now.  That is the life I guess when one is studying at university full time and working full time and trying to raise 3 young kids.  My sanity is long gone.  In this world, there is little chance to get ahead.  Around ever corner there is an unexpected expense lingering or some sort of germ to make you lose precious days of work.  Living I beyond our means has become common place and credit card companies look for ways to trip you up.  I can't wait to get out of school so I can flip burgers at mcdonalds so I can feed my kids.  I can't wait for crushing debt and inflation to ruin my dreams of ever retiring and working until I am to sick to do it anymore.  I can't wait to see the environment slowly destroyed by our constant demands for something new, something trendy.  Our inability to do anything technical by hand now isn't helping.  Everyone thinks they need a bloody university degree to get by, but when their toilets clog up, they'll be paying half their weeks salary to a plumber to come and fix it for them because they have no idea how to pick up a plunger.

Screw it, I'm moving to the country, where I'll build my own house with my own hands and my apparently uncommon knowledge of construction and watch the city implode.  Enjoy your collapsing bridges.
